About the artist

I'm Margreet Rijlaarsdam, the artist behind Mags Up Your Mind. I create art prints, greeting cards and other art pieces that blend traditional watercolor with modern digital illustration. Two sides of me live in this work — and they look quite different.

There's a more serious side: work that grew out of challenges in my own life — the setbacks, the healing, the small victories — translated into images. Those pieces carry a story, and I hope they offer some recognition or comfort on your own wall.

And there's my lighthearted side, where I play with words, animals and humour. You'll see it most in the greeting cards — made to get a laugh out of your best friends and brighten someone's day.

On my YouTube channel I document my process and show how the art prints come to life.

Everything is made with care and an eye for sustainability — printed on recycled paper with organic ink in the Netherlands.
